This design is based on the anime Samurai Champloo. The design was created to be printed on apparel and other forms of merchandise.

Music is a key component to the voice of Champloo, specifically hip-hop culture, whose influence manifests in the main character's break-dancing fighting style, beat-boxing characters, and even a graffiti episode.
